Monday, July 12: Happy Hour & Business Meeting at Growler's Pub in Creve Coeur
Time: Happy Hour at 6:00PM, Meeting begins at 7:00PM.
Info: Arrive early, visit the bar and unwind with a couple of cocktails. See what's new with your tall pals. Then attend the Business Meeting and find out what's new with the club.
Directions: Growler's is located at 763 Old Ballas Road at Olive (Creve Coeur, MO  63141). From 270 go east on Olive through three traffic lights. The first one is Center Drive, the second light is New Ballas and the third light is Old Ballas. Old Ballas is probably not quite a mile from 270. When you see a Blockbuster Video on the right, you're there. Growlers is located under the Blockbuster Video. There is a traffic light right where the Blockbuster is and that's where you turn right. You'll see Growlers on your right. The phone number is 314-432-3110.

Friday, July 16: Happy Hour at Big Daddy's in Soulard
Time: 5:30PM.
Cost: Varies with thirst and hunger.
Info: Stop by to unwind from a long week.

Friday, July 23: Jungle Boogie Friday Night Concert at the Zoo
Time: 5PM to 8PM.
Cost: Admission is Free; Food and drink available for purchase.
Info: The Zoo extends its hours on Friday evenings to host this event. Musical entertainment will be provided by Boogie Chyld. It's sure to be a great time.
Directions: Meet at the Zoo's Schnuck Family Plaza at 5PM. The St. Louis Zoo [map; 1.6MB PDF file] is located in Forest Park, just north of the Highway 40/Hampton intersection.

Saturday, July 31: Alton Block Party
Time: 6:00PM. Meeting place to be determined.
Cost: Entry is free. Food and drink is available for purchase.
Info: Alton holds a downtown block party on the last Saturday of every month from May through September. This event features a wide variety of food and drink at reasonable prices. Kids activities begin at 4PM with adult activities starting at sundown. Musical entertainment begins at 6:30PM
Directions: The Block Party is held on Third Street between Piasa and State in Alton. For more information call 618-465-6676.

Sunday, August 1: Paper Party at Harlie's
Time: 7:00PM.
Cost: No cost, just a willingness to help assemble the newsletter.
Info: The more people that show up, the quicker the newsletter is assembled. Then the only thing you have to do is party. Watermelon and ice cream will be provided.
